Exports from northern and central of Peru

Generating business and investments of more than US $ 20 million for the country’s fishing and agro-industrial sectors was one of the main objectives of the North Exporta business roundtable, held on May 25th in Lima, said the Peruvian Promotion Commission For Export and Tourism – PROMPERÚ. In the business round, 25 buyers from the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Panama, Chile, Mexico, South Korea, Portugal, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands participated, as well as 60 Peruvian companies, mostly small and medium- of Lambayeque, La Libertad, Cajamarca, Junin, Piura and Tumbes. Some of the products traded on the wheel are asparagus, pomegranate, organic banana, mangoes, grapes, cranberries, avocados, pineapple, citrus, as well as giant squid, prawns, fan shells and parakeet, among others.

Norte Exporta was organized by PROMPERÚ and counted on the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) through its Overseas Commercial Offices (OCEX), which have been identified in different markets and have identified important buyers for the Peruvian offer.
