Dakar and Pope give a good start to tourism

Beyond the scandals and political events, which occur quite frequently in recent days in the country,  the tourism sector in this first month will have favorable results for those who depend directly or indirectly on activities related to this area so special of the national economy.

Today is a special date for the sport and for those who are lovers of motorsport, with the start of the most important rally in the world such as the Dakar, despite the turbulence, the first stage starts with the participation of almost half a thousand competitors, among them, a good number of compatriots who leave in search of the triumph to leave on high the name of Peru.


The eyes of the world will be placed in our country that, in addition, with this sporting activity generates an important economic movement by the amount of tourists who arrived and who will witness the different tests that the pilots will fulfill in the following days -from 6th to January 11th – on hard roads of deep Peru and which are a good tourist attraction.
On the other hand, the arrival of Pope Francisco will consolidate the good start for tourism, industry without chimneys that requires more promotion and support, which little by little becomes one of the most important productive economic activities, that with the series of projects of Investment planned for 2018 will generate faster job opportunities for thousands of Peruvians.

Given this auspicious scenario, the Government should take advantage to continue promoting tourism.
